One surfer, one coach. Each session lasts around two hours and costs IDR 700,000. We choose the surf spot and start time around your experience and the conditions.
Coaching for Where You Are Now
Start with ocean awareness, board handling, paddling, and getting to your feet. Your coach explains each movement, gives you time to practise, and helps you understand what to change on your next attempt.
If you already catch waves, we can work on positioning, takeoff timing, wave selection, and how you ride along the wave. Tell us what feels difficult so the session can focus on the skills you want to develop.

What Your Session Includes
We begin by discussing your experience and the conditions. Beginners practise the basics on the beach before entering the water. The session then moves into guided practice with feedback suited to your level.
One-to-one coaching with a dedicated Soulflow coach.
A surfboard and basic equipment for the session.
A briefing on ocean safety and the surf conditions.
Beach preparation and time in the water, with coaching adapted to your needs.
Choosing the Right Waves
We teach around the Uluwatu area, including Balangan, Dreamland and other suitable spots in South Bali. The choice depends on your ability, swell, wind, and tide.
Uluwatu here refers to the wider area; a lesson does not automatically take place at the Uluwatu reef break.
For advance bookings, we confirm the final time and meeting point on WhatsApp the day before your lesson. Ocean conditions can still require a change on the day.
Experience Behind the Coaching
Soulflow is led by Tank, a former professional surfer and ASI-certified coach with 29 years of surfing experience and 17+ years of teaching.
His approach brings ocean knowledge and close attention to technique into our lessons.
