Each session lasts around two hours and costs IDR 400,000 per person. We plan the lesson around compatible experience levels and the conditions.
A Group That Fits Your Level
Small-group coaching works best when everyone is learning at a similar stage. You can practise together, ask questions, and receive feedback on your own technique while sharing the session.
For complete beginners, we start with beach preparation and the basics in the water. If you have surfed before, the session may focus on takeoff timing, positioning, and choosing waves more consistently.
Tell us about each person's experience before booking. If your levels or goals are very different, we may suggest a different coaching arrangement.

What Your Session Includes
A maximum of three surfers with each coach.
A safety briefing and preparation suited to the group.
A surfboard and basic equipment for each surfer.
Guided practice and individual feedback in the water.
The whole session is around two hours, including the briefing, any beach practice, and time in the water. Your coach adjusts the focus to the group and the waves.
Where We Surf
Lessons take place around the Uluwatu area, including Balangan and other suitable South Bali spots.
We choose the beach and start time according to the group's ability, swell, wind, and tide.
For advance bookings, your final time and meeting point are confirmed on WhatsApp the day before. Conditions can still require a change on the day.
Coaching Shaped by Experience
Soulflow is led by Tank, a former professional surfer and ASI-certified coach with 29 years of surfing experience and 17+ years of teaching.
His experience informs how we explain technique, read the conditions, and support each surfer.
